One of my best friends had gave birth to a beautiful little boy in September. The moments we share together have shed light on the mystery of why Jesus came to earth as an infant. This past Monday, she brought her baby to meet my grandmother. When my grandmother held baby Carmelo she began to cry a little. I had never seen this dimension of my grandmother before. After some difficult weeks for my family, this little meeting filled the room with calm. Carmelo and his devoted mother are a light in darkness, signs of hope and bearers of peace.
